Break bread was a collaborative project with Government Digital Services. Its aims were to bridge the gap and aid more fluid conversation between start up business' & Government.
Once establishing the problem: a lack of conversation between departments in Government that was in turn resulting in poor conversation between them and the start-ups, we designed a bread making workshop that forced all participating members to work together and share information in order to move on to the next step, and ultimately, bake a loaf of bread by the end of the workshop.
The workshop created a framework that could be applied to any collaborative problem solving task. Running the workshop with policy makers would allow them to understand the impact and importance of collaborative working methods and facilitate a smoother and more fluid work flow.
